VANGILI FEEDS
Our group is started with the formation of “M/S.VANGILI FEEDS.” This concern was started in the year 1989 as a Partnership Firm In a small manner with Mr.V.SUBRAMANIAM & Mrs.S.SELVI as partners. At the initial stage we are dealing in a small manner by producing the poultry feed by procuring raw materials and grinded them into feed with other feed mill operators on job work basis.
CONSTRUCTION OF A FEED MILL
In the year 1990-91 we had constructed a feed mill unit at Parali village in Namakkal TK., with a capacity to produce 4000 tonns of feed per month. At the initial stage we are doing the business in a barter system. (i.e.) we had supplied the feed to the Poultry Farmers at an agreed rate and taken back the eggs from them at the agreed rates as fixed by the National Egg Co-Ordination Committee. We have slowly increased our business and step by step implementing the system of direct sale of feed to the Poultry Farmers and Traders.
CONSTRUCTION OF A LAYER FARM UNIT
We had started a Commercial Layer Farm unit in the year 1994, at Parali Village, in Namakkal Tk., in the name & style of M/S. GAYATHRI POULTRY FARM. This unit was started as a Partnership Firm with Mr.V.SUBRAMANIAM & Mrs. S.SELVI as partners. There is 1 Chick Shed, 3 Grower Sheds, and 13 Layer Sheds are existing in this unit; to rear 35000 Chicks, 35000 Growers, and 170000 Layer birds.
STARTING A BREEDER FARM & A HATCHERY UNIT
In the year 1995, we had started a new company under the name & Style of M/S.VANGILI HATCHERIES PVT. LTD., with Mr.V.SUBRAMANIAM & Mrs.S.SELVI as Directors. At first we are Purchasing Broiler Parent Birds and rearing it in our Breeder Farm unit at Kondamanaikanpatty village, in Namakkal TK. This unit started its commercial activities in the year 1997
We have produced Hatching Eggs and Place them for Hatching with other Hatchery units on job work. Then, we had constructed our own Hatchery Unit at the same place in Kondamanaikanpatty village in Namakkal TK. At first we had started our Hatchery unit with 4 Double Setters and 2 Hatchers, with a capacity to hatch 20000 chiks in a single hatch. Now there are 22 Double Setters and 11 Hatchers are available at this unit, with a capacity to hatch 200000 chicks in a single hatch.
TAKE OVER A BREEDER FARM UNIT
In the year 1997, we had taken over a Layer Breeder Farm Unit by name “HEMANTH POULTRY FARMS PVT. LTD., at Mugulapalli village, in Hosur Tk.; as a going concern, by acquiring all the shares in the company. Then we had changed the unit into a Broiler Breeder Farm Unit, by making necessary alterations over it and also constructed some additional sheds. Now the unit is having capacity to rear 48000 Females and 7000 Males.
ACQUIRING THE LAND OF THE BREEDER FARN UNIT
In the year 2009, we had purchased the land over which the HEMANTH POULTRY FARMS PVT. LTD., Mugulapalli unit is constructed; from the Former Director of the company Mr. P.Narasappa.
STARTING A RETAIL OUTLET
With the intention to supply the healthy and hygienic chicken and eggs to the public; we had started a small retail outlet in the year 2000 with the name and style of M/S.VANGILI CHICKEN SNACKS CORNER, as a partnership concern with Mr.V.SUBRAMANIAM & Mrs. S.SELVI as partners; to sell fresh chicken and eggs and also to sell the value added chicken and egg products,
STEPPING INTO THE BROILER TRADING
As a growth of the business and due to the emerging trend at that time, we make an attempt to go for broiler marketing. In the year 2002, we had stepped in to the broiler business by rearing Broiler Birds on contractual basis in Namakkal and Krishnagiri areas. We had started a branch office at Krishnagiri.
CONSTRUCTION OF A OWN OFFICE BUILDING
We had started our branch office at Krishnagiri in the year 2002. At first, we run our office in a rented premise. Due to increase in the volume of our trade and to keep the inventories, the rented premise was not enough for us. So, we had decided to have our own office premise. As such, in the year 2005, we had constructed a new commercial Building in Periyamuthur village, Krishnagiri and shifted our branch office to the own building.
ACQUIRING A FEED MILL UNIT
As a result of our growth in the broiler marketing, our feed requirement had gone up considerably. So, in the year 2005 we had purchased an old Feed mill unit at Nathamedu village, in Namakkal Tk., in the name of M/S.VANGILI FEEDS, with a capacity to produce 2000 tonns of feed per month.
CONSTRUCTION OF A BREEDER FARM UNIT
As a result of the development in the Broiler industry, we want to grow additional Breeder Parents and to increase our chick production capacity. So, in the year 2007, we had constructed a new Breeder Farm unit at Sevitturanganpatty village, in Namakkal TK., in the name of M/S.VANGILI FEEDS with a capacity to rear 16000 Broiler Breeder Parent Birds.
CONSTRUCTION OF A BOARDING HOUSE
As Namakkal is mostly famous for Lorry Business, Poultry Business and also for tourism, There are no sufficient well equipped boarding places available in Namakkal at that time. So we had stepped in to the hospitality industry by starting a well equipped Single Star Hotel in the name and style of “HOTEL VANGILI INTERNATIONAL” in the year 2007, as a proprietary concern of Mr.V.SUBRAMANIAM; with 23 fully air conditioned Rooms, an air conditioned mini conference hall, a sophisticated air conditioned Permit Room, and a well equipped air-conditioned Multi Cuisine Restaurant.
ACQUIRING A PETROL PUMP AND A COMMERCIAL BUILDING
In the year 2007, a Petrol Pump, along with a Commercial Building in Trichy Road, Namakkal, was acquired from M/S.Andavar & Co., Namakkal, by M/S.VANGILI FEEDS.
CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW LAYER FARM UNIT
As a result of the demand for the layer eggs increased, we had decided to increase our Layer Birds Strength. So, we had set up a new Commercial Layer Farm unit as Unit II of “GAYATHRI POULTRY FARM”, at Kurumbapatty village, in Namakkal TK., with a capacity to rear 50000 Chicks, 50000 Grower Birds, and 250000 Layer Birds.
CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW BREEDING FARM UNIT
As an expansion program, in the year 2011, we had constructed a new Breeding Farm as unit II of “M.S.HEMANTH POULTRY FARMS PVT. LTD.,” in Kothur, Attur Village, Hosur TK.; with a capacity to rear 75000 Female Breeder Parents and 10500 Breeder Males. The commercial production was started in May’2011.
CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW HATCHERY UNIT
As our placement of Broiler chicks had increased, and we do not have sufficient capacity to hatch the required chicks. Since most of our Broiler chicks are placed in Krishnagiri area, we had decided to start a new Hatchery Unit at Krishnagiri area. As such, we had started a New Hatchery unit at Kurubarapalli village, in Krishnagiri TK., as a Hatchery Unit II of VANGILI HATCHERIES PVT. LTD., with 24 Double Setters and 12 Hatchers; to produce 400000 chicks in a single hatch.
CONSTRUCTION OF A BROILER FARM
In recent days we are mainly concentrated in rearing Broiler Birds, and also our requirement is increasing much. So, in the year 2013, we had constructed a New Broiler Farm Unit in the name of M/S.VANGILI HATCHERIES PVT. LTD., at Elumichengiri village, in Krishnagiri Tk. in the year 2013, with a capacity to rear 100000 Broiler Birds at a time.
CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW FEED MILL PLANT
As a result of increase in the strength of rearing the Broiler Birds, and also to minimize the cost of transporting the feed from Namakkal to Krishnagiri; we had decided to start a new Feed Plant in Krishnagiri area. As such, in the year 2014, we had started a new modernized Pellet Feed Mill Plant and a Full Fat Soya Plant, with an Expander Machine; which is the very first of its kind in Asia, at Polupalli village, in Krishnagiri TK, with a capacity to produce 14000 tonns of Feed and 720 Tonns of Full Fat Soya per month.
CONSTRUCTION OF A BREEDER FARM UNIT
With an improvement in the industry, we had planned to increase our Breeder Parent capacity. So, we had started a Breeder Farm Unit in the year 2017, at Kurubarapalli village, in Krishnagiri Tk., with a capacity to rear 30000 Female Parent chicks and 3600 Male Parent chicks and equal number of Grower Parent birds in the name of “M/S.VANGILI HATCHERIES PVT. LTD.”
